Credit Crunch
Saturday, 24 January, 2009 @ 10:44AM
The credit crunch is something everyone fears to hear about and how much its effected already since it first began 6months ago according to latest figures.
I have not been effected to much degree yet but i have noticed it in the everyday tasks like shopping in the supermarket or shops closing down.
I used to be able to go into my local supermarket and get a weeks worth of my normal shopping for about £35, but now i have found im spending about £45 - £50 to get the same things.
I have also noticed local shops that have been around for ages and ages struggling to get by and survive in the credit crunch capital we are in now. Shops like M&S, Woolworths, Dixons, PCWorld and so many more its frightening. These shops that we have become accustomed to all our lives as safe secure everlasting shops in our high street are now fading out and struggling.
Banks are also in the same shape, alot have been saved through Government funding but again alot of big ones out there are fading quick or have already gone.
The question is now set for "How long will it last?" and also "What is going to be done about it?"
If you have any views or more information then please help by posting a comment here, thank you very much.
